El profesor Antonio Urquízar ha coordinado el último número de la prestigiosa revista Journal of Iberian and Latin American Studies (Volumen 25-2, 2019), donde se han propuesto novedosos estudios sobre el cambio en la memoria y el gusto de las colecciones nobiliarias españolas a finales del siglo XIX e inicios del XX. Para ello, ha contado con integrantes del proyecto de investigación POLENO y especialistas en el tema:
- Antonio Urquízar Herrera, Memory and taste in the collections and households of the Spanish nobility (nineteenth and early twentieth centuries): an introduction to the topic with some notes on the house of Osuna and the origins of the period room.
- José Miguel Hernández Barral, The Marquises of Viana: building distinction through the past (1875-1927).
- Eva María Ramos Frendo, Recreating the past in the ornamentation of stately homes and the leisure activities conducted within them: the Duchess of Parcent as a case study for the Spanish aristocracy in the early twentieth century.
- José A. Vigara Zafra, The Diputación de la Grandeza and the organization of ‘Retrospective Art Exhibitions’ in the second half of the nineteenth century.
- Élodie Baillot, Exhibiting the collections of the Spanish Crown and nobility for the nation: the Count of Valencia de Don Juan and the 1892 European historical exhibition.
